A little bit late this year for our first official Duffers Challenge, but better late than never. Here are the details:

I played this course in an outing in April and I was surprised that I lived 5 minutes away from it in '92 but never played it. It played very nice and kind of reminds me of Cedar Trace in that it has a lot of different terrain to offer, it isn't terrible difficult but does have some tricky holes. It was a very fun course to play.
They do have an outing in the morning but it should be cleared up by 12:15. I will be calling about 2 weeks before to see if they can get us penciled in so it IS IMPORTANT that you sign up, either here or FaceBook (or email) so I have a count and how many tee times I will need.
I'm am also considering some post event festivities at my Shawnee Road domicile and possibly a "play group" gathering for the wife's and children before hand, but still need to confirm that with Emilie.

Wow!!
I've gotten a much better response for this challenge than ever before. So much so that it almost feels like an outing.
Here is the deal, I currently have 3 foursomes confirmed and I was able to get 4 tee times much earlier than the "7 days prior". We are currently set to tee off at 12:21, 12:30, 12:39 and 12:48. I am very relieved that our times are set.
I currently have room for four more people and I do have a few maybe's on the list. If you would like to join us, please confirm with me as soon as possible so I can mark you down.
I want to remind folks that this is NOT the Duffers Open and I hope everyone that joins us will be able to join us again on September 5th for the Open at Cedar Trace.
